“It’s a cold and it’s a broken Hallelujah.”
I don’t know if I’d ever be able to explain the way this song speaks to me. Some songs are just like that - they just pull at your soul and this song is that way for me. From the first breathless sigh to the last note, this song always stops me in my tracks. But its not just this song, because this song has been done over 300 times, it’s the Jeff Buckley version off his 1994 album Grace and maybe, just maybe it’s because to me this version is “a cold and broken Hallelujah”.

This is clearly a beautiful song, and probably the best version I've heard as well.
There is probably some cosmic reason this came out the year we got married and our first son was born.
