In case any of you were wondering, this is what it would be like if Larry and I ever split up.

Larry’s Pick: What Have You Done

Shannon just doesn't get Within Temptation. And maybe it's because in the heat of the battle, this is one of my battle cries. I think I have a sarcasm problem.

"Would you mind if I hurt you?"

"I won't show mercy on you now"

"Would you mind if I killed you?
Would you mind if I tried to?
'Cause you have turned into my worst enemy"

...and to top it off with neat little bow:

"We will be free when it ends"

My interpretation for us: When we go at each other, nothing is ever held back. And regardless of how bad it gets, neither of us is going to surrender and back down. So we'll only be free when we end - as in die.
