Whenever I hear this song or any old school N64 game theme song it always takes me back to a very specific time in our lives. It was from February 1998 to February 2005, the years we lived in our house in Lancaster, Ohio. During these early years I would say the N64 gave the Sony PlayStation a run for their money in our house, at least until the next new system came along, and then the next, and the next and so on until the end of time. This was also the time period whereas the only non-gamer in the house I could still somewhat hold my own playing games against my 2 and 3 to 9 and 10 year-old sons.
Ok, who am I kidding? By the time they were 4 and 5 I could no longer beat them at their video games, but I could at least still play them with them.
Many of these memories star Connor Barnes with the rest of us as background characters in his gaming life. That is just fine with me and the following photos reflect that to me as well.
