Shannon’s Pick: Perfect

Even if that was the only lyric in the whole song that was “perfect for the moment” could it be any more perfect? Ok, maybe we aren’t barefoot on the grass but close enough. But it’s not just that one, because…

“We were just kids when we fell in love”

“Your heart is all I own and, in your eyes, you're holding mine”

“I see my future in your eyes”

I know that a lot of you who know both Larry and I are probably surprised by the complete “sappiness” of some of our posts, considering how sarcastic and contrary we can be in person, but I hope that those close enough to us would have already known how sappy and deeply in love with each other we are. 

Larry’s Perspective:

First a housekeeping note: A storm hit tonight and the town is without power so I’m winging this on my mobile. 

Another song I did not know. But it is absolutely “Perfect” for the moment.

After reading Shannon’s entry, I really only have one additional thought. What matters most to me, and Shannon as well, is we have consistently demonstrated this to our sons - what a relationship can and should be.  

Which would also include all the snark and sarcasm.
