It took a few tries for me to understand what I think this song means. It's not often the words "nuclear distress" are in lyrics and that always threw me off.
But here's the key to me:
If you put in the time
We did. It was not always easy. It was not always hard. It wasn't without it's trials and tribulations. But we're in a pretty fantastic place now and it's kind of depressing to think about couples who never reach this stage of nirvana.
I can only hope that people find who they're meant to be with...
