Shannon’s Perspective:

“I’m in deep with this girl but she's out of her mind.”

I honestly don’t know if I’ve heard this song before or not. I have to imagine that I have based on Larry’s love of Blink 182 but it is not one that I remember.  I will after tonight.  These precious moments with Larry are not being taken for granted and I make sure every night when we dance to just be in the moment and allow myself to feel whatever needs to be felt. 

Larry’s Perspective:

Ok, I'll admit that I was the one that put this song on the list. And I love things that come in threes. Rush. The Police. blink-182. Me, Myself & I.

So while Shannon is the exact opposite to anti-social to a fault, she is out of her mind - also to a fault. And in her own way, a little punk. And now that we live in her hometown, versus mine for the past 26+ years, I'm meeting a lot of people who knew her "back in the day".  And oh, the stories I've heard.  Exactly what I would have expected.

I can confirm with 100% certainty Saint Francis Kansas did not, and even though they have dial-up internet now, still doesn't know the concept of punk or emo, but that's what Shannon was back then - and even today.

No apologies. Not giving a fuck. Just being who she is and proud of it. That's your problem, not hers.

But I'm in deep with this girl...and we all do need something to live for. And I live for Shannon for exactly who she is...though it is rough sometimes...
