On November 19, 1992 I found where I belong.
This is another band I discovered from The Secret Life of Walter Mitty soundtrack.
I've discussed my memory issues and abduction desires before, so when I heard this song there are a couple of lines that jumped out.
The first line is People find where they belong, or keep on. I must have found where I belong, because I didn't keep on.
The second line is When my hands are old and ache, and my memory flickers dim. This one is a little harder to swallow, because as I said before, I have so few memories to begin with. So hopefully when I start to lose the last few I have, hopefully I'm not even aware of it.
And although it's probably pretty taboo and we've never done it, I enjoy the visual this line creates: Feel the carvings in the tree, that gives shade to you and me...
