When you find someone that makes you feel like the above lyrics it just cuts a little bit deeper when things aren’t going well. Larry and I have had our moments. Moments where we both feel like something is off or moments where just one of us feels like something is off. But in each instance we have been able to just give each other a reason.
Larry’s Perspective:
I was not familiar with this song, so as we were driving today we listened to it so I could familiarize myself with the lyrics.
I really keyed in on these:
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
We're not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again
Given that I truly believe in our string of fate, I like the "It's in the stars" reference - because I believe there's a ghost of a chance.
We've referenced the scars on our hearts in the past - and we have come really close a couple of times to our breaking point - but that's not happened, and it won't. The only thing that will break one of us is when the other one is no longer here...
