I don't have a lot to add, as this is a father-son perspective. But it is a thought provoking song from a parental point of view.
Well as a father, you had to see this one coming. But until I was a father, this only hit slightly as I thought about my relationship with my dad. It hits on a whole other level once you become a father.
I did do a lot of traveling when my sons were toddlers putting a lot of strain on them, their mom and myself. It's never fun when a song lays a guilt trip on you.
I don't have a lot to say as the song speaks for itself. Beautifully written; beautifully sung.
