Some duos are just meant to be and this song shows that perfectly. I know Larry has been having a rough go of it here lately so this song is a good reminder of another duo that was meant to be, us. We try to do our best to hold each other up and support each other when we need to. Sometimes it feels like you have nothing more to give and in those moments I like to think of us as a couple of soldiers leaning back to back watching each others sixes while leaning into each other for support. I guess the fact that I have been surrounded by guys most of my life it should really come as no surprise that is a visual I have, but I think it provides a perfect example of how we try to hold each other up even when we cannot hold ourselves up.
Honestly, I can't wait to dance to this song.
At this exact moment in time, January 15th, 2025 - I needed this song. I needed to go through the process of writing this entry and re-reading the entries I included below. Life is wearing me down and I needed this recharge. But know that this song has been chosen for this day for quite a while, so it's random happenstance that things all collided today. And ever since it made the list, I wanted to share this dance with my wife.

I previously referenced Paradise by the Dashboard Light as being widely considered the best rock duet of all time, so this IMO has to be a very close third. Don't Give Up would be second (but it's #1 in my book). We've also had It's Only Love. Not featured on this project would be Stop Draggin' My Heart Around. Shannon would kill me if I also didn't reference U Got The Look.
Maybe I'm out of touch with modern music, but I don't think there are enough of these anymore. No, APT. does not count. If you think it does, you're missing the point with all of the songs I've referenced.
