Earlier in the year we had songs listed under the "Release The Sarcasm!" theme and this song definitely qualifies. But there's a reason it's specifically chosen for today.
For you see, my dear friends, on this day in 2016 - we officially closed on our dream home right here in Saint Francis, Kansas. Which just happens to be on Jackson Street. And also happens to be across the street and a few doors down from where Shannon grew up. That was completely unintentional - we love our little house and it just happened to be located here.
It's honestly hard to believe we bought it eight years ago (but didn't move in for about two and a half years).

This was chosen because the hellraiser from the 80's was back in town with her co-hort in tow...
For Larry: "Yeah, we're going to Jackson - Ain't never coming back"
This was chosen because I had had enough of corporate life and I was never going back to it. This song got a lot of airplay between 2016 and my final days at Lbrands in 2019. I sang that quote all the time...
