As fate would have it, I graduated in 1989 as well - just in a much cooler High School in Sunbury, Ohio. So since A) I currently reside in Kansas, and B) I haven't heard diddly about our class even having a 35th reunion, I'm just taking this day and proclaiming it my 35th solo reunion.
I do have to say, though, that I appreciate how Shannon's Alumni handles class reunions. They actually have a reunion weekend, where anybody from any class comes back to town and there is a musical artist that plays Saturday night at the Bandshell. Each Alumni weekend there are "Honor Classes" where those classes gather at the High School and have pictures taken.
I specifically dug these two old relics out to wear around town with Shannon but A) She said "No Fucking Way", and B) It was in the 90's so I definitely would have taken an ambulance ride to the hospital.
I cannot wait to hear how anyone my sons generation or younger pronounces the band INXS...
P.S. That is an ORIGINAL Bugle Boy jacket with my INXS patch. I could probably sell this in Japan for a million dollars...
